Open Road Drivers Plan is now ORDP

For Open Road Drivers Plan, customers come first in this tech-led approach to ease pain points and improve customer experience within the trucking industry

OVERLAND PARK, Kansas – March 4, 2019 – MSTS, a global payments and credit solutions provider, today announced the acquisition of TicketRX, a Kansas City-based startup revolutionizing legal support for traffic citations and violations, via its ORDP brand. With this acquisition, Open Road Drivers Plan is now ORDP. The new brand will officially be called ORDP powered by TicketRX and will be managed by TicketRX founder and CEO, Bryan Shannon.

ORDP, short for Open Road Drivers Plan, is an industry leader in providing ticket resolutions for CDL drivers and fleets, with a nationwide attorney network and 92 percent success rate. The acquisition of TicketRX combines the agility and growth-hacking mentality of a startup with an established solution to provide drivers a frictionless experience for resolving traffic violations.

TicketRX’s digital platform is a one-touch solution connecting commercial drivers with attorneys who are licensed where the violation occurred. Focused on the trucking industry, TicketRX uses a mobile app and artificial intelligence to streamline ticket resolution. ORDP is in the process of scaling this technology across its customer base.

“Leveraging TicketRX’s technology will allow MSTS to disrupt the industry and offer a revolutionary approach that streamlines communications between attorneys and drivers, minimizes pain points and provides innovative customer service,” said Brandon Spear, president of MSTS.

“I’m excited to bring our mobile, AI-driven technology under the MSTS umbrella,” said Shannon. “MSTS’ long history and leadership experience in the transportation industry will ensure we keep drivers on the road with less hassle.”

MSTS and its parent company, World Fuel Services, are committed to serving fleets in the U.S. and globally through flexible diesel and gasoline supply options, innovative fuel card programs, legal protection and toll management services. The TicketRX acquisition is part of an overall strategy to keep fleets on the road while spending less time cutting through red tape.
